Why Humans of Collin County

This idea came to me after reading stories about people from other "Humans" sites, and I thought why not have such a site for the amazing people of Collin County, Texas.
I, Wendell Brock, grew up the youngest of seven children. My father was pretty old by todays standards to have his youngest child! One thing I remember about him was his love for people, learning about them, and from them. He used to love to sit and just watch people.

I believe that I have inherited that trait from him. I have always loved learning about people, what's their story, background, likes, dislikes, motivations, and, you know, what makes them tick? These are some of the great stories of what we may think are ordinary, run of the mill, common humans. Each one however is not ordinary, run of the mill or common by any stretch, as each one is in fact a child of our loving Heavenly Father. The God in whose image we are created. That make each human extremely important in every sense of the word.

Every person has value in this life, each of us contributes to those around us. That's what makes us a friend to someone. Many friends make a community. When we get to know each other better, we learn to love more. Everyone could use a little more of that.
Love that is.
